We received a QT movie to make some DVD's and a DigiBeta for a client.
The clip properties say XD CAM EX 720p 24 35mb/VBR 1280x720 23.98
The clip will play in FCP (6.0.3), but we cannot get it to play out of the Kona 3
to our Panasonic HD monitor (BT-LH2600w) via SDI??
I believe we've tried all settings in the Kona Panel and still nothing....

thats a kona issue not FCP. In the kona control panel set input to 72024 and output to 128024. Once the cocntrol panel is set go into FCP and change the capture presets for the kona. You did install the kona drives into FCP.

Yes, the presets for Kona are in FCP. Are you saying the capture presets in FCP should be 720/24?
I guess 720/24 is not a playback setting?
