Re: Making a PowerPoint into a video for DVDSP

Is it possible to make a PowerPoint presentation, of around 25 slides, into a movie that will be included as DVD video and DVD authored into DVDSP?

We have done two videos for our client and he has asked if can put the PowerPoint presentation onto the DVD as well. The two videos have subtitle files to choose from on the menu.

How will the useability of the PowerPoint be doing this?? Each slide could have a chapter marker, but it will have to be paused until the presenter is ready to move to the next slide.

His other question was whether an embedded series of photos could be shown, or will it just show the first photo?

I'd either do one of two things. Include the PowerPoint presentation as a DVD-ROM content - and put a page on your DVD stating so (and instructions, etc.), or save the PowerPoint slides as JPEGS, import them into a slideshow - and have them advance manually (not auto).
