Re: Top Chef blur effect- how do I recreate in FCP

It looks pretty simple. It looks like some cut up frames that start with color correction effects jumping into some major blur with some swipe. I'm prett sure this can be done with a little razor blade work. There are a few tutorials on YouTube and DigitalJuice.com that will give you very similar results.

Good to know. What should I search for in regards to this effect? Is there a specific tutorial you were suggesting?
