Can No longer Capture Video. Getting Error about NO CONTENT

I don't get this because I have been capturing lately and Im all of a sudden unable to use the captured film in editing. When I open the file in QT it plays everything I captured but it wont acknowledge it when I go to move it into the editing bars. The error message reads" Insufficient Content for Edit." Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Whats a scratch disk setting?

The Scratch disk is the drive on which you store your captured video.
