Re: Getting an AUDIO error message. Help please!

The error message reads: " The audio sample rate of one or more of your captured media files does not match the sample rate on your source tape. This may cause the video and audio of these media files to be out of sync. Make sure the audio sample rate of your capture preset matches the sample rate of your tape."

I'm not sure what this means or how to go about fixing it. It was working before and now it wont give me audio with the video which followed another ordeal where it wouldn't let me put any video in to edit. Very frustrating. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you trashed the FCP preferences, as Ken suggested ? This may solve all the problems you are having.
