Importing EDL from adobe premier

I had to do a final edit and some post audio on a project that was edited on Adobe Premier pro. It took a while to get past the fumbling stage on their system which was a PC.
Now that it has been submitted to festivals, I have time to finish up and I was hoping to try using an imported edl, but I am not getting the audio when I recapture the footage. Am I missing a basic preference?
I have fcp6 studio mac g5 dual
I would really like to do the finishing touches and color correcting on my system.
