Re: final cut won't open !!!!!

here is the problem i am trying to open final cut it starts loading.... apparently some one save an asset or something to a network drive that is no longer connected to mac. final cut asks to authenticate a user name and password... we don't know who this user was so we can't get there password... if we hit cancel final cut just quits.... is there any way to stop final cut from trying to open the previous project when it is trying to open. PLEASE HELP it is rendering this mac useless
