Is there a good free film look (old and scratched) effect I can get online? I remember seeing one posted here a couple months ago - thank you

I made my own using motion and about ten different replicates it took me ages but now its done i have complete control over the filter. you should try it.

Shane,

Quicktime Pro has one. If you export your clip from QT you can add the Film Noise filter that has scratches, hair, dust, old film look options.

one thing to keep in mind is that you color correct the image before adding the filter as some times it doesnt blend very well together.
