Sending DVDSP templates to Motion

I looked through both DVDSP and Motion's manuals and I could not find out whether I can send a template from DVDSP to Motion to make changes. I have been working with FCP 6 for about a year now and decided to toy with Motion. I'm currently working on a wedding vid for my stepson and his wife and need to change a template's color scheme. You cannot send DVDSP templates to Motion. DVDSP templates can only be changed within DVDSP. These templates consist of stills and, in some cases, small movies that have been created with a dedicated developer software. In some cases you can replace the backgrounds and other elements of a template in DVDSP.
