Dear Ken,
How does one deliver footage shot on a P2 card to a client in another city? In the old days I would put the 3/4 inch cassette into a CBS "inion sack" and ship it off to NY.

That's a very good question. Can I assume that you do not want to send the actual P2 card?

The only thing that comes to mind would be to buy a small firewire hard dtive, transfer the P2 to the hard drive and then send the hard drive.

Not a very good solution, but people do this.

Anyone else have an idea?

The only thing that came to your mind turns out to be as good an answer as I can see also. On page 93 of THE HVX BOOK Barry Green tells how to transfer to a hard drive. I have a back up hd which (for a small deposit) I will send to the producer.
