Re: Matrox MXO three monitors

I'm interested in using the MXO box but would like to use two application monitors and an additional edit view monitor ( the Matrox MXO system). I know fcp will only support two monitors with one graphic card. My computer has two graphic cards, will the mxo box work on a second graphic card? Is MXO using the canvas for it's output?

Thanks, but I would really prefer to use my graphic cards and stay away from another box. My first test was to use two monitors with bins and timeline, preview and a third monitor with the canvas in digital cinema mode but fcp doesn't support the third monitor, quote from apple support. What happens is when you add a filter to a clip in the sequence it won't allow you to render the sequence, has to do with two graphic cards.
