Re: Digitizing HDV 720i60 with FCP 5

I have a JVC GY-HD110U camera I shot some HDV 720i60 footage with for slow-motion purposes. I'm trying to digitize this footage, but since there's no "easy setup" in FCP 5 for HDV 720i60, I'm stumped as to what the best settings would be.

Although it has been suggested to me that I use Apple Intermediate Codec, I'd prefer not to for space considerations unless it really is the only way.

You might want to more closely look at the details of what you shot, as there is no such format as 720i60. All 720 formats are progressive (p). Once you know your format, it will be easier to try and resolve your issue.
