Re: no compressor and no mpeg2 export

Hi David, yes that's the one I read, followed it to the letter.
The upshot of this is out of sheer bloody mindedness, I sent a file straight out of FCP this morning and accepted compresor's default 'destination' which is 'same as source' and bingo, it's working. ( my normal route is to dump my mpeg2 encodes into a HD reserved for DVD builds ) Compressor on my G4 on Tiger accepted this but Compressor wont on the Mac pro on Leopard.
Just glad I'm working again.
The encode time for app one hour of footage on my new Mac pro is 90 minutes, my ghast is flabbered!! Phew, wipe me brow and make me a cuppa.
