You don't say what format you exported and that can make a significant difference in the size of the files. SD is considerably smaller than HDV which is smaller that Hi Res. What settings did you export before bringing into Compressor. I assume you exported out of FC as a self contained movie, or was it a reference movie. You really need to provide more info.

You probably exported a reference (non self-contained) movie, which can be very small if the FCP Sequence was fully rendered.
