Re: long distance media file relationship

Hi all,

if i have a MBPro and media files that i have copied on to two seperate hard drive, and i send one of those hard drives to a friend in another state, who also has a MBPro , is there a way (maybe even email) that i can send my friend sequences (media files not included) so she can reconnect the media files on a timeline to see what i have done?

Yes just attach the project file to the email and your friend can open the project on the MBPro and have access to all of the sequences and browser info. You need to have the same version of FCP or if you have FCP 5 and they have FCP 6 that will work but not the other way around.
