Re: Video Monitors

Hi. Another question!

At present I am working with a Samsung monitor with my Mac Pro. I'm also using FCP. Its probably not the best monitor to be using for video editing etc. Could anyone advise as to how I could change my set-up to make it better? Some people have suggested getting a video monitor (such as a Sony PVM). Would you recommend this option or what alternatives would you suggest? (I'm based in the UK). As you can guess, I'm still learning, so I apologize in advance for my ignorance in this area.

Do you need an HD monitor or SD only?

At the moment an SD monitor. In the future an HD monitor may be required, but budget won't stretch to that at present!

Hi. Thanks for all your help to-date. I've checked the model you suggested. Living in the UK does have its disadvantages! This item has been discontinued from various places. Would it be possible for you to suggest another model? Thanks again.
