I have set my scratch disk to my external drive. So everything from final cut pro goes to "Final Cut Pro Documents" on my external. But every time i load final cut it inserts a folder in my home/documents folder. How do i get this to stop doing this?

FCP does that by default. As long as your scratch disk is set properly, don't worry about it.

ok, thanks. is there no way that i can make it so it doesn't keep reappearing every time i open final cut? (like a check box in a menu somewhere)

Nope, everyone who runs FCP has these document. It's important that one set of these files exist, otherwaise FCP can not open.
Just do your self a favor and forget about it.
