Hi guys,
is there anybody that has experience with iPod videos played on TV?
I recently purcesed two sets of cables, composite and component, to be able to play my videos from iPod on TV, but I am dissapointed with the quality and that is especialy for component settings.
I was thinking maybe there's something I am not doing right with exporting my videos from final cut studio 2, quicktime, etc.
does anybody has experience with this?
Ken, is there a tutorial about this?
thank you,
cosmin

Videot
Any video encoded specifically for your iPod will be less than broadcast resolution in quality.
Using HandBrake as my guide to see how videos are encoded, their iPhone/iPod Touch setting is 480 x 368; iPod low-res setting is 320 x 240, and iPod hi-res setting is the best at 640 x 480 (still down from DV source video of 720x480). So those are probably the quality levels of video you're coming up against.
