dvd burn issues

Hi,
I am using dvdsp4 to burn. It won't play back on DVD Player, but when I open it in quicktime and hit VTS_01_1_VOB it plays (just video of course). It also doesn't read on my PC's Power dvd, real player, etc., although it shows the 600 meg used on the dvd.
I am real awkward with the program. I don't need chapters and such, I just put the mpeg 2 and digital dolby files in the timeline and hit burn. It has woked for me before. I need help.
