Hi, my G5 used to render pretty fast, now it renders much slower. Is it too full, too much garbage? should I trash something else?
G5, 10.5. dual 2g, 2.5gram, one internal hd where i have projects-applications (100g, about 35 available), a second internal hd with media (150g, about 40 available). Does disk warrior help?
Thanks!
Johnny
I recommend running a cache cleaning script at least once a month. I use Main Menu (all tasks) and that, along with repairing permissions seems to keep my Macs running smooth.

Yeah, Repair Permissions at least once a month is good preventive measure. When all else fails, resetting the PRAM helps.

I'm looking too.
Use to use MacJanitor and CacheOut X, but they have not been updated for Leopard.
Does anyone like TechTools Pro for Mac maintenance?
