Audio Filter to brighten dull voice track

Hi Ken,

Can you recommend within FCP's audio filters a single filter to brighten a dull voice track? I just wanted to add a little treble without raising volume so it will hold up against my music track.
None of the myriad filters seem to address this simple issue.

I'd use an EQ filter and boost the upper mid-range (around 2.5k), then probably add the Dynamic Processor filter to boost the vocal presence without increasing gain.
