hearing audio during capture

Hello and sorry to bug you about a simple problem.
I am using fcp 4.5 and dsr 11 without speakers. What setting will allow me to hear the audio through the computer speakers while capturing. The client said that it was done that way before I trashed the prefs. I usually use speakers on the deck but we don't have any right now.

You won't able to hear with the deck attached via firewire. If you disconnect the deck you will hear the audio from the computer speakers.
