Chapter markers did not export to DVDSP4

I just read your article again (since 2005) and understand more now then when I first got into DVDSP.

But, I have a curious question. When you talked about adding compressor marker to the 'flame' clip, I see that you added three compression markers at 2 second intervals. If there is an 'I' frame at the beginning of every 15 frame GOP already, how does adding three random ones at 60 frame intervals help? It would seem that you would have to add a compression marker every 5-7 frames to be effective.

MPEG2 long GOP sets an I frame every 15 frames, but what happens if at frame number 7, the image changes drastically. It's at this point you would want to set a compression (i frame) marker.

It's not how often but rather where.
