Hi, i have a completed movie (SD, DV-Pal 4:3). I exported it using the 'quicktime movie ' option - 'self contained' - default settings - 'current video and audio settings' etc. When i open the movie using Quicktime the movie plays horribly dropping frames. I get the same results exporting using 'quicktime conversion' (DV-PAL, quality - best, interlaced, 4:3 etc).
Interestingly an uncompressed version of the movie, exported using 'quicktime conversion' which is 2.39 gigs (data rate - 336.59 mbits/sec) plays perfectly through Quicktime on the desktop, so it is strange that a DV-Pal version with a much smaller file size (223 mbs, data rate - 30.34 mbit/sec) wont play properly.
I exported another movie from another project (DV-Pal, 16;9) via these export methods and the exports played back in the same ropey manner.
Does anyone know why this is happening ?
