Re: import video from FTP to FCP

Hello all,

I have someone who needs to send me video for his web site. I am new to this and need your help. I (think) he needs to send his project to an FTP server and then I can download from there. Are there special instructions I need to give him as to file format, etc? The problem I am having is that in my earlier attempts to do this the audio and video files separated into several different files. I searched your discussions and saw a program called Transmit was recommended. I've downloaded it but can find no instructions or tutorials to use this. Am I on the right track here with Transmit? Or do I need something else? Is there a white paper or article you can recommend so I can avoid posing such elementary questions?
