Chromo Keying Flicker

Hello,

I have a project(s) of chroma-keying people on a moving background. I am getting a good cut out but after rendering I'm noticing a flickering effect in only their hair. One hair color is brown and one is light blonde (they are sort of late 80's style high, lol). It looks like an interlace problem. It's definitely just that layer. The background and other effects I have going do not flicker. I see it especially on a regular interlace tv not a progressive computer monitor. Could rendering it in 8 bit cause this or the compression to mpeg-2? Do you think rendering it in 10 bit would make chroma-keying look better?

I have done other subjects without this effect.
