Folks,
Probably something I'm overlooking ...
It's easy enough to 'cmd t' and get a favorite transition (dissolve) to lay in on the end of a clip on V1.
How though, can you use this shortcut on V2, V3 etc?
As well, often I like to place the one-second dissolve over the last one-second of the clip.
Instead, it lays over the final 15 frames ... the rest 'hanging out'...
Anyone?

Hi JR,
You can target other tracks by changing auto selet settings. Not sure about transition issue, but I'd try going to transition editor and creating a dissolve for specific length and set to go onto the incoming clip or whatever you need. Then copy the dissolve to favorite effects and make default. Alternatively you could probably just create what you want in the TL and drag to favorites bin in browser.

But I may be wrong and welcome correction,
