Outputing HDV still

Passing along a solution I found to a frustrating simple problem: exported still (QT conversion) results in a non-anamorphic image file. Solution, go into Quick Time and bring in raw footage file, locate play head on desired frame, then File, Export, "movie to picture." options Photo-JPEG, set file size and voila. For some reason QT preserves aspect ration while FCP still export does not. There's probably some way to do this from FCP (much more convenient) so please pipe up if you know how. Hope this helps another recent convert to HDV.
