Re: Compressor 2.3.1 output is "jumpy / choppy"

Have an HD Quicktime movie that I need to convert to MPEG2 for a DVD and when I run it through compressor I end up with a jumpy video.

The original video specs are:
Frames: 24
Data Rate: 2616.61 kbits/s
Normal Size: 1280 x 720 pixels
Length: 14:53

I use the "DVD Best Quality 90 Minutes -16x9" preset.

i've used this preset on the video I get from this client before and it's worked out fine, this time it's not.

The resulting video I get

Data Rate: 4904.38 kbits/s
Normal Size: 720 x 404 pixels

The same type of video file I converted before came out at a Data Rate of 6094.76 kbits/s and was 1.5 minutes longer and yet it plays smooth as silk in QT Player and DVDSP.

Any ideas on this?

I did a full re-install and update of Compressor and I'm still getting the same problems.
