Re: Eliminate time stamp?

Hi,
Recently I shot an event on a PanasonicDVC60 and in the capture process from regular Sony DV tape discovered the whole roll is time stamped "Sept 7, 2008" in white, three quarters down in the center.
Can I eliminate this either by cropping or masking? I do have two rolls from a two camera shoot.

Tried searching archives but did not turn up an answer.

Am using FCPhd4, Adobe CS3 MasterSuite.
