Ken, I get the image, with All Frames, but it doesn't have motion. Just a still image where the play head stops.

Trig,

You subject title is "1280x720p to NTSC".

What are your Sequence settings, what is the format, frame size and codec of the clips on your timeline?

Thanks Ken,

As mentioned above, my sequence settings are shown in the attached and have attached the clip properties.

Hope this is what you need to help me figure this out.

Hope you had a grand entrance for the new year.

Hi Trig,

The only type of video that will play down FW to your DV Camera and then out to a TV is DV video, 720 x 480.

1280 x 720 Pro Res will not play down Firewire.

So the answer to you first questions is, no you can't do this.

You'll need another solution like Matrox, or off a Capture card like BlackMagic or AJA.

Thanks Ken,
I think I will leave it hooked up so I can at least do a color check with the still image that it produces. But, on the LCD screen, it pretty much matches the aux. monitor image.

I always wondered what those Black Magic and Matrox ads were for. lol

I would not use any NTSC set to monitor my colors in HD. Your computer monitor will be far more accurate (if it is set up properly).
