DSLR in FCP-6

Hi Ken and all,

We are thinking of getting a camera (DSLR) that shoots stills and short bursts of video.

The stills would be Head Shots and people in motion.

The short video clips would be of people Dancing, Sometimes slowed down.

I still use FCP-6, and make SD DVDs.

One of the most important things is that it must work FCP 6 (I may consider going to 7).

We will run a MBP with FCPX as i work into it, something in the future.

Media should be SD Cards or something common.

My last real still camera(s) were a Cannon F1 and A1.

Any suggestions will be welcome.
