Hi everyone, ages since I dropped in, I'm still in FCP 7 land, can't drag myself to FCPx after poking around for a while. Been working with HDV now for a few years, well since it came out.
I set my sequence up for HDV pro res 1440x1080 25 50i and capture and edit in this, been great thus far and no dramas. Just today I had a thought, as I'm also getting footage now thats 1920x1080 ( not from my own camera which is 1440 ). So to edit both on the same timeline I decided to modify my 1440x1080 pro res sequence to a custom, 1920x1080 25 50i pro res and I dropped my 1440x1080 25 50i pro res onto it and presto, there's no rendering involved? Well a faint gray line.
I'm happy with this but wondering what the faint grey line indicates, I haven't seen it before.
