I exported a 9 min time line (dv video) and made a none compressed quick time and the file size is 21GB seems huge, this isn't HD yet still a HUGE file is created??? I wonder does something get added when using no compression to quicktime?

Well something sure isn't right. DV only takes up about 13.3gb per hour of footage. Was the Sequence fully rendered before you exported? What were the exact steps you took when exporting?

yes it was rendered. i just exported using quicktime conversion selection "none"?

Don't use QT conversion, just use the standard QT option.
