FLV file... can I edit it? (June 14, 2008 10:04AM) filmographer
I lost the original QT movie that I edited and converted to FLV for my clients web site (actually while I was gone he deleted it..) now I need to make an important change to the very end of the video- can I drag it into FCP 6 and edit it? Thought I read I could. Or, can I convert it (without too much loss) so it can be edited in FCP?

Hi Steve,

No, I haven't. But there is a know issue of FCP quitting when trying to import AVCHD video while Perian is installed. Apple has published a warning for this problem and it should be solved with the next Perian update. If you experience any problems, just drag the Perian QT component to the trash and everything should work again.

Best wishes,

Ronny
