Pondering pulldown, any advice?

Hi all,

My question is about pulldown. If I were to shoot 24p or 30p on a Canon HV30, then from what I understand, I would need to remove pulldown if my intention is for others to view the final cut on say a computer, correct?

Most of the time, I'm sure the DVD's will be viewed through modern Tvs, but in some cases some people may play them in their computers. Should I still remove pulldown then? Would it matter?

From what I can wrap my brain around, Tv should have no problem if i don't remove the pulldown. Is that right? And if my intention is to create DVDs for people, then I don't really need to worry about pulldown, do I?
