Mpeg Streamclip and M2T files

I am converting some files recorded on my Datavideo DN-60A recorder and when setting up the clip have chosen to convert the MT2 files to HDV Apple 1080p24 to match footage from my XHA1s camera.

When running the clips into FCP 7, the clips captured from tape are showing; but the converted files are showing HDV 1080i50 in get info/format. Everything else matches up perfectly.

Why am I getting this different rate?
