a collaboration effort has led to frustration in workflow.
we've got HD cameras, SD cameras, Mac computers and windows computers.
most editing is being done on windows computer with Premiere Pro.
we have people in several different locations.. tried uploading footage to dropbox.com.. that was taking way too long.
is it best to use a flash drive to physically move footage to the edit suite? or better to load it onto a sata drive via "toaster" (external drive bay, I call them toasters)
tried a 32G flash drive.. might not be a fast enough drive.. as actually stopped my mac.
would you run everything through quicktime first? what is the most universally compatible format to edit with?
how would YOU deal with this?
