Re: Problem reading files on WD external drives after upgrading to Yosemite

After upgrading to Yosemite, has anyone had a problem reading files on WD external drives?
This was an issue after the Mavericks upgrade in the beginning of the year. A drive manager for Macs (3.1.0) had to be downloaded from the WD website.

This could be a non-issue with the new OS but I want to check all avenues before I "launch missiles".

Hey Phil,

That's correct, there were problems with the Mavericks update. I have seen no reports about issues with WD drives on Yosemite yet, but I would check their support to make sure you have the latest drivers installed before launching any missiles.
