I'm looking to build a 5-second animation over a spinning earth or globe that tracks a journey (with an arrow?) from New York to a specific country in Africa (Tanzania). Does anyone have suggestions on how to access existing components or software for free or next-to-nothing? I'm editing on FCP X and I have limited Motion 5 competency.

iMovie has such a feature included, in a basic way, but definitely usable.
