Projects and Events back up drive

Hi Everyone,

I had almost finished editing television program but had to take the back up drive with me hoping I could just open my projects and events library on a new (different ) iMac. I opened the Library, clicked on Other, and selected the project and event file from my back up drive. It gives me the below error message and sends me to Finder to change permissions. I change the permissions and it gives me the same message.

What version of FCP X are you using?

What kind if backup drive is this? Is this a Time Machine backup from your system drive?

You say "I opened the Library... and selected the project and event file...". How did you open that Library? In FCP X, in Finder...?
