Adjusting exposure FCP7 vs FCPx HUGE difference

Adjusting exposure FCP7 vs FCPx HUGE difference (November 07, 2015 06:41AM) JavaPop
This is most likely an obvious observation. I started using FCPx last year for most everything; but still use it for performances as I have a system that works well.

The biggest thing I've liked with FCPx is the ability to color correct and adjust exposure. It gives me the feel of editing a RAW still image.

FCP7 however seems to cripple you in this area.

Does anyone have advise for making an exposure adjustment using legacy FCP that looks as nice is one done in FCPx?

If the Three-Way Color Corrector in FCP 7 doesn't work well for you, you should try sending the clip to Color (bundled with FCS 3). I believe they rolled a lot of Color's functionality into FCP-X when it was released.
