FCP and Existing Projects

I went to the Mac shop and opened FCP. The version number is 6. I set the Capture Scratch then went to open a project. The project was about 45% opened when I got the following message: "File's format is too new for this version of the application". My projects were created with FCP 6.0.6 and the shop is now downloading 6.0.6 from the Apple site. Hopefully that will solve the problem. I'll know soon.

One more thing I noticed. They installed my other drive that was in the G5 called AV-2 which has video files and other files, no application programs. The MacHD and AV-2 show as separate icons on the Desktop but in FCP Log and Capture I have to go through MacHD before I can choose AV-2. The AV-2 icon doesn't show as a separate selection in the L&C window. They are looking into that too.
