Latest OS X update still a bad idea? (January 02, 2009 03:12PM) rpestes
A few weeks ago I read a post about NOT updating to the most recent OS X version because it caused problems with various Studio 2 applications. Is this still a problem or have the problems been solved? Thanks for your advice.

It's always a bad idea to update ANYTHING unless you absolutely need it.

I agree with David, never upgrade unless there is a reason to do so.

I'm at Mac OS 10.5.6, FCP 6.0.5 and QT 7.5.5 and everything seems to be working.

OK guys, thanks. Everything seems to work for me too without the upgrade so I'll stick for now.
